Desperado - Eagles Tribute
Desperado has become one of the best and most well known Eagles tributes in the United States. They boast a line-up of five lead singers and multi-instrumentalists; which not only possess and rivals the musical talents of the actual Eagles, but have been used to play with members of the Hall of Fame band itself.  Desperado was founded in 2002 by lead singing guitarist and keyboardist Aaron Broering. For the past 15 years and counting, Aaron and Desperado have displayed pin-point accuracy and care in delivering a completely live show demonstrating their mastery of the timeless musical and lyrical arrangements of the Eagles.

Desperado tirelessly dedicates itself to the diligence of not only the music and vocals but the beautiful preservation of the imagery, mystique, and landscapes of vivid sentiment found in Eagles songs.  So much to the point that founder Aaron Broering's original material has been flatteringly  compared to artists such as The Eagles and Jackson Browne.

Desperado’s powerhouse line-up currently consists of founding member Aaron Broering, who played with Eagles guitarist Don Felder, and Eagles co-writer J.D. Souther.  Drummer and percussionist Kevin O’Connell, Bassist Chris Farmer who was former musical director of the Beach Boys, and Current Bassist for Eagle Timothy B. Schmit , Guitarist Ricky Lewis who’s played with The Chanteys since 1980 and was performing on television at the Age of 10, and vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Kerry Chester, who has played with artists such as Dick Dale.

Desperado performs annually in large casino show rooms, performing art centers, private and corporate settings, music clubs as well as fairs and outdoor concert festivals. Desperado is a “Must Hear” for any Eagles fan and concert promoter. Desperado brings it all to you, and is being met with the following praises and more from its critics and contemporaries:

“You guys played Hotel California like you wrote the song”.

Rosemary Butler………..
Former back-up singer for Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt

“The finest replication of Eagles songs I’ve ever heard”.
Jerry Greenberg…..Former CEO of Atlantic Records.

"Their vocals make the hair stand on your neck"…Michael Tolerico…. Electric Events, Lakewood C.O.
“Once heard, Always preferred”……….. JoAnn Smith, The Laughlin Reporter
Clapton Hook
Clapton Hook is an Eric Clapton Tribute band, playing songs from Cream, Derek and the Dominos, Clapton's solo efforts, and more. If Clapton has played it, Clapton Hook might just play it for you!

Playing all over San Diego county and Southern California since 2010, "The Hook" has played at lots of cool places from The Blue Cafe in Huntington Beach, to the Ramona Mainstage, to San Diego's own Belly Up Tavern and Humphreys Backstage Live!

Featuring Dan Litwin
Dan Litwin is the lead guitarist and primary vocalist for the band. Dan has been playing guitar since 1971, and was influenced by the great guitarists of the age, such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Robin Trower, Johnny Winter, and more.
Dan is from the Los Angeles area originally, but now lives in San Diego. He began playing in bands at the age of 14 and knew right away that he had found his life's calling.
In 1983 while working as a software programmer at the Fender guitar factory in Fullerton, CA, Dan bought his Stratocaster at an employee sale. It's still Dan's favorite guitar.

Players you may see on stage with Clapton Hook
Clapton Hook can't say enough about the following incredible musicians, who play with the band regularly:

Todd Bouchard
Todd Bouchard, the band's original drummer, has been living in San Diego since the late 1980s and has been drumming since the 1970s. He has performed in bands that focus on both original music and classic rock hits.
Todd's major influences are Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Rush, and Grand Funk Railroad, to name just a few. He also felt a kinship with the "big hair" bands of the 1970s & 80s.
Todd has played on different drum sets including, Pearl, Gretch, TAMA and Ludwig, but has grown very fond of his latest kit, which is a Drum Workshop (DW). He also has a Roland V-Drum electronic set that has become a stage favorite.

Martin Holland
Former bassist with the Jerry Garcia Band, Martin Holland joins Clapton Hook on a regular basis.
Martin's abilities are epic, and his ability to improvise is exploited in San Diego's well known Easy Wind, as they headline the famous Belly Up Tavern, on a regular basis.

Matt Simpson
Matt Simpson, who once was Clapton Hook's primary bassist, honed his chops as a member of many bands, including Mass Transit, The Rolling Heartbreakers, Brian Jones Rock and Roll Revue, and She Says So Band.
Matt currently plays with the reformed & famous 1960s band, Howard Blank's The Outsiders.

Eric Bowen
Supremely talented drummer, Eric Bowen, is often called upon to play with Clapton Hook, and we always look forward to his performances. He has done some serious touring with big name artists, and brings a pro attitude and chops.

Mikey Pannone
Describing himself as a Jazz fusion hippie, metalhead, and blues cat, Mikey Pannone is one of the most popular drummers in the San Diego area.
Asked what bands he plays in, he responded in typical Mikey fashion: "Too many!". Those bands include U Oughta No, RDG, Up the Irons, and Hitman Honey, to name a few. We're grateful to work with Mikey.

Frank Lazzaro
We're pleased to have drummer Frank Lazzaro playing with us, on many special occasions. Frank is a veteran player, performing with a plethora of San Diego bands, including The Travel Agents, Easy Wind, and El Dorado Slim & the Commodore Hotel Orchestra.
